Entertainment ‘Icing’

The icing on the entertainment cake may be compared to the herbs and spices added to a great meal. Expertly timed and placed, these finishing touches bring out new and imaginative flavours that enhance the entertainment experience in a way that is unique to guests and all present on the night.

The little things add human energy at opportune moments, like musicians jamming over pop beats whilst dancing as the disco is in full flow or the government department who recorded their own Christmas single to play at their event. Another approach is simply to lay on a good old fashioned dose of the V.I.P. treatment.

Interactive

Interactive touches are a fantastic way of personalising your experience by giving guests the opportunity to put their own stamp on proceedings by entertaining each other away from the spotlight of the main event. Small but significant features include opportunities for guests to be pampered, for instance with a head massage on arrival, as well as more active mini-challenges and games. Guests from engineering firm Arup proved particularly adept at ‘deck quoits', for instance, whilst cruising on the Thames.

Classic

More classic forms of entertainment ‘sideshows' are of course available also, with singers, dancers, magicians and character actors deployed at opportune moments to add energy and delight to proceedings. A particular favourite is the ‘Dancing DJs', enjoyed by Charles Kendall and Partners as the designated hosts of the YMCA!

Novel Transport

P.O.P. firmly believes that the journey is very much part of the experience.

An unusual mode of arrival sets a great foundation for a memorable event. Arrival options aplenty exist to complement different themes. Examples include Rickshaws, Reindeer, Horses and Carts, and Jet Boats. A P.O.P. style red carpet arrival never hurts.
